BOE Goals
  • Goal B1: Prepare for upcoming contract negotiations by utilizing resources available for training and information through NJSBA
     
  • Goal B2: Restructure the board’s governance model by utilizing a “committee of the whole” system to foster enhanced communication and transparency

District Goals
  • Goal D1: The superintendent, in cooperation with the administrative team and teaching staff, will implement strategies for the improvement of language arts literacy instruction and achievement through the implementation of Reader’s/ Writer’s Workshop and/ or reading & Writing in the Content Areas.
  • Goal D2: The superintendent, in cooperation with the administrative team and teaching staff, will implement co-teaching strategies to differentiate instruction for most student populations in a regular education setting.
  • Goal D3: The superintendent, in cooperation with the administrative team and teaching staff, will implement formal and informal teacher evaluations based on Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching.
  • Goal D4: The superintendent, in cooperation with the administrative and teaching staff, will explore technology infusion into the classroom with the appropriate infrastructure to support district initiatives.
  • Goal D5: The superintendent, in cooperation with the business administrator and facilities manager, will continue to monitor and update the buildings and grounds as needed to ensure a safe and appealing learning environment is created for the school community.
